Spring
cleaning ;-)
Welcome to the sixth issue of MyAtari
magazine, essential reading for the Atari enthusiast.
In this issue, we show you how to develop an entire
web site using you Atari computer (and become a dot
com millionaire!). We investigate the pros and cons
of using HTML wizards and discuss the benefits of writing
web pages by hand. Now repeat after me... HTML is fun
;-)
This issue also contains a report
from the After Eight Party as well as two articles entitled,
Tip of the day and Made on an Atari which we hope will become regular columns.
So please send us your contributions ASAP!
Following the success of last month's
reader offer, MyAtari has managed to secure further
copies of Iron Soldier, Ultra Vortek and Alien vs Predator posters. Prices start from only £7.00
(UK and International orders welcome) and are subject
to availability. Click here to learn more.
While every effort is made to prevent
errors creeping into issues of MyAtari, last month it
appears we were unsuccessful. I would therefore like
to apologise to readers that attempted to complete last
month's crossword competition. It was rather unfair,
some of the were slightly 'misleading' and it appears
that I forgot to include one clue completely - oops!
Consequently, the competition deadline has been extended
until 1st June 2001. Good luck everyone!
Regular readers will have noticed
a new form on the homepage asking you to recommend this
site to a friend. We would really like to reach 20,000
hits by the end of June 2001and ask that you use the
Tell a friend! form to tell all your Atari chums about MyAtari
magazine.
Finally, after months of issuing awards,
www.myatari.net has received not one but two awards of its own!

The Eye Site award has been awarded
by ICWhen.com for our "continued
recognition and support of the classic gamer and computer
enthusiast" and the prestigious
Star web site award has been awarded to us by the Atari Time Machine. A big thank you to everyone who has supported
us, we couldn't have achieved these awards without you!
Enjoy the issue and Happy Easter ;-)

P.S. In case you missed our review
of jinnee v2.5 (as it went included in our March issue
shortly before it was archived), please read or download
our March 2001 issue!
P.P.S Due to pressures of work,
the ASH Scripter review has been postponed until we
have enough time to review it properly. Apologise all
round! |
